Criss Angel Revealed: Balducci Levitation

Posted in criss angel revealed with tags , , on June 14, 2008 by edmindell

Criss Angel performed many types of levittion. From simple levitating in front of a few people to levitating over the building. Most of these tricks are variataions of so-called Balducci Levitation, named after Ed Balducci who first described this trick in hippy – happy 70′s.

Balducci Levittion

Balducci Levitation is easier to learn than you think. Actually it takes minutes! The point is to stand at the right angle with respect to the audience. You then slowly raise yourself on toes of one leg, stay up for a moment, and then slowly return down. The audience will actually see you levitating, and they will be amazed, no matter how simple it could look to you.

Here is the graph that shows how to do it:

This is actually so effective you won’t beleive your friend’s reaction when you do it the first time. They will behave like they’ve seen a ghost! Here is the full tutorial on how to perform Balducci Levitation I made recently.

Criss Angel also performs some variations of Balducci Levitation: King Levitation, Sooperman Levitation, and many more. These variations require that you have some gimmicks, e.g. special shoes, which is too complicated. Balducci Levitation requires no tools and is as effective as other methods. Learn it from my tutorial and the people will be shocked!

Criss Angel Revealed

This blog is for the folks that want to learn Criss Angel secrets, the famous street magic style that is becoming more and more popular in 2008. I will show you how to do some of his most impressive tricks so you can leave your friends speechless.

My name is Ed Mindell and I am a 10-year expirience street magician. After seeing all of the Criss Angel shows, I couldn’t resist to start a blog where I will reveal most of his performances. I have enough of my own tricks so revealing his wouldn’t be harmful to me :)

To become a professional magician is not easy. But learning some basic magic tricks in order to be the man of the hour in a bar or a club, is easier than you think. The thing is, most people are much more impressed when you do something live, than on TV. When performing on TV, the possibility of editing and digital effects always give audience a piece of doubt about the genuineness of live performance. So performing a simple trick in reality is usually much more effective to a spectator than a most advanced trick done on a television show.

I will show you how to do Criss Angel magic, usually with no or few gimmicks (magician tools). Prepare to become the most interesting guy in your circle of friends.
